Nintendo has announced that more than 30 games will be available for the 3DS between the launch window on March 27th and the 2011 E3 Expo, which runs June 7th – 9th.

This list will be updated as more information becomes available.

Team Ninja’s fighting series brings the fight to the 3DS, offering storylines and rivalries spanning the series history from DOA to DOA 4 as well as new content. DOA Dimensions brings signature stages and more than 20 fighters with modes including Arcade and Survival and new modes such as Tag Challenge and Throwdown.

Multiplayer Anywhere
-When you’re done testing your chops against the CPU, take on a new challenge through multiplayer available through Local Play or battle fighters from around the world through Internet Play.

Fight Alone or Team Up
-Fans can now take on the world of DOA with a partner, so more experienced fighters can help newcomers learn the ropes first-hand. Team up with a friend and take on a Tag Challenge together.

The Comprehensive DOA Experience
-Relive the DOA storyline, spanning from the original to the latest console installment of DOA 4. Chronicle Mode covers all of these storylines and more; filling in parts of the story that no DOA game has covered previously.

A Championship Roster
-Fight with fan favorites like Kasumi, Ryu Hayabusa, Hayate and Jann Lee from a roster of more than 20 DOA fighters. Fans will also be able to experience new playable fighters, as well as new stages.

A Fighter for Rookies or Pros
-Also new to the series will be an interactive Move List, utilizing the Touch Screen of the Nintendo 3DS. Character combos and move input commands will show up on the Move List, reminiscent of arcade cabinets where moves are listed for quick reference. Touching any combo will perform that move, so entire fights can be controlled through the Touch Screen alone!

Originally surfacing as a tech demo for the Nintendo DS, Steel Diver submerged from sight until its sudden return as a 3DS launch title. Touch screen controls for submarine combat joins gyroscope features as players engage enemy ships and sea creatures.

Steel Diver

Release Date – March 27, 2011
Publisher – Nintendo
Developer – Nintendo
Players – 1-2

Suggested Retail Price – $39.99

-Use touch-screen controls to guide submarines through lush, undersea 3D environments.
-Branching paths, split-second decisions and attacks from enemy ships make for a thrilling undersea adventure.

Multiple ways to play
– Missions: Players manipulate control panels on the touch screen to control the sub’s speed, depth and pitch, and to fire torpedoes as they make their way toward the end of each level. If the sub takes damage and starts taking on water, players can use the stylus on the touch screen to stop the leak. There is also a time attack mode that challenges the player to get through levels as quickly as possible.
– Periscope Strike: The gyroscope for the Nintendo 3DS system allows players to control the periscope view by rotating their bodies. Players use the touch screen to fire a well-placed torpedo and take enemies out.
– Steel Commander: In this two-player strategy mode, a local wireless connection pits player against player. The game is a top-down, turn-based “chess-like” game that puts players in command of a fleet of ships and a sub. Once players locate a ship, they enter Periscope Mode and blast it out of the water.

Immersive undersea graphics
– The 3D in Steel Diver makes players feel like they are peering into an aquarium, with the action unfolding right before their eyes.
