Remedy invites you to step into another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land of imagination. Next stop, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare. The launch trailer for the Xbox LIVE Arcade exclusive spin-off gives a mighty nod to Rod Serling while showing both sides of the game, which offers a stand-alone story involving Alan’s psychopathic shadow Mr. Scratch as well as an arcade mode challenging players to survive waves of enemies until dawn.

The game hits XBLA next week on February 22nd and will set you back 1200 Microsoft Points for another chance to step into the writer’s shoes – you can catch the launch trailer and a rather delightful teaser trailer involving Mr. Scratch below.
