NIS America has confirmed that the sequel to one of the most sadistic games I’ve ever encountered will be heading to North America, via UMD and PSN for the PSP in January 2011.

To qualify the use of the word sadistic, just about every review of the first Prinny PSP title ever written draws comparisons to Ghouls ‘n Ghosts’ legendary frustration. Now imagine a bit of Metal Slug staring Disgaea characters and levels that leave players needing 1,000 extra lives and you’re starting to get the idea.

Although the full title of this sequel might leave you imagining a frat house Prinny adventure, the side-scrolling play revolves around the theft of Etna’s underwear and the subsequent mission of one brave Prinny to recover them.

None of which answers the question – would you feel awkward asking for a copy of this at the store?
