Taito’s latest cabinet for the continuing saga of blasting the life robotic aquatic reminds me why it’s miserable living in a place where you’ve got better odds of being struck by lightening than finding an arcade.

Darius Burst Another Chronicle goes uber-wide for four players later this year in Japan according to the official site.

Add this to the list of reasons it may finally be time to organize a very long Gamesugar super-shmup-friends trip overseas.

    That looks awesome! That’s almost unheard of insane though… wouldn’t that display panel be like… custom built? Crazy.

    I wonder how a port to home consoles would look… maybe they’d let you hook 2 Xbox 360s together with 2 widescreen TVs and rock out that way? Ala Forza! Still not as cool as that awesome custom display with a bench and 4 really nice joystick panels!

    If I can save enough money… I’ll import that arcade machine… and re-assemble it in my apartment… sure I’ll have to get rid of my bed so that I have room for it… but I can sleep on that bench!
