Your 2010 Elite Status Club Nintendo Reward

Club Nintendo
From my inbox to your ears comes this year’s reward to those gamers who sacrificed food and clothing to get their fix and feed the Big N, myself included – I hadn’t been paying attention and was surprised at the email.

Anyway, lesson learned – it pays to fill out surveys in the middle of the night because Nintendo’s reward for Platinum Status (600 Coins) this year is a 3.9 by 4.6 inch tribute to Super Mario that I feel will look very awesome in my living room. The choice between this or a calender took exactly 0.01 seconds to make.

Let me know how many of you are expecting one of these in the mail now – now being sometime between today and December that is.

  1. I’ll be getting a statue which is even better than last years platinum reward. I’ll be doing surveys for all my DSiware and Wiiware purchases that I’ve left unattended until today since I was already platinum and they will put me at the halfway point for platinum 2011. Still haven registered a single Wii or DS game on my account and I did the math yesterday and I have enough codes for two more years of Platinum… and that is without buying Zelda, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Sin and Punishment, Flingsmash and all their Wii and DS releases. I’m platinum until 2014. Keep the gifts coming Nintendo!

P.S.: Could everyone else mass email Nintendo to convince them to make the Super Mario Galaxy or SMG 2 soundtrack available? I’d gladly pay 500-600 coins for it.

  2. I’ve been holding off on registering SMG2 until today… I guess Sin & Punishment 2 as well. I’ll be getting the statue as well.

  3. Got my email today as well though I had my eye on my inbox for a while now. I was surprised. I believe it was the Japanese market that got a Famicom styled Wii-mote one year. Naturally I was hoping for something better than a cheap tiny toy that will inevitabley collect dust whilst sitting atop my other dust collector, thus shielding it from it’s deserved dustiness; my Wii.

  4. Super Famicom Classic Controller, but yea, I guess I have gotten too used to not getting the same level of awesome that Japan gets :/

  5. Already placed my order for the figurine. My brother has done the same and so did my little sister. Triple platinum power!
