With E3 comes footage of the imminent Alan Wake DLC, which comes free on July 27th to any player who remembered to hold on to the download code included with their copy of the game. Players who’ve completed the game will immediately recognize elements from the final bizarre stretch of Alan’s journey; perhaps we can expect some light to be shed (no pun intended, I swear) on the game’s deliberately vague closing moments. According to Remedy, Alan’s grip on reality (or lack thereof) plays an important role in the DLC, which we can probably confirm by the presence of amusing see-through Barry hallucination, whom you can see for yourself after the break.
