SNK Makes A Game I Want To Play!

A shocking title I know, it seems like it’s been forever and a day since I could say something like this, but I have seen the trailer for NeoGeo Heroes – Ultimate Shooting on PSP and I am both pleased and hungry for more.

The game pulls heroes from every direction and lets the bullets fly while players are able to take on the challenge vertically or horizontally. The stage progression offers a selectable path and apparently offers variations depending on the character selected.

Heroes hits Japanese PSP’s this summer, which means someone here needs to get it together and realize that I need this in my hands over anymore Metal Slug remixes or fighting relics.

    Looks groovy, is this the same game they are making for XBLA? I like PSP games that let you switch views like that! Williams Pinball Hall of Fame does that too.

      I didn’t know williams did that, damn you now I have to find it. As far as I know that is different from kof sky stage, or more atleast with stages and dragging in characters from other games.

    So I take it then that you didn’t like KoF XII and don’t want to try out XIII?

      I do have the last KOF, great looking game, just kinda left me wanting in a bunch of categories. Doesn’t mean SNK couldn’t surprise me, but over the last year it feels like they need a time machine, and I don’t mean stuck in the past in the good way.

      I’d really like to hope this will be the case… KOF XII was my least favorite KOF EVER MADE. I’m so thankful that I only paid $25 for that game, otherwise I would have tried to pin a class action lawsuit on SNK for total FAIL.

      I will be in the “wait and see” line for KOF XIII (unless it is $25). :)

    So Ujn, how are you on trophies on KoF XII? Or are you playing on a 360? The online trophies/achievements take foreeeeveer.

      I buy all my multi-platform games on the Xbox 360. I’m not sure how the trophies/achievements match up, but I’ve played very little of KOF XII due to not liking it, so I only have 1 achievement out of 50: “Conqueror – Cleared Arcade Mode without using CONTINUE.”

    In order to platinum the game/obtain all achievements, you have to play about 1,000 online matches and WIN them… so that should give you an idea.
