Nearing The Finish Line

Bit.Trip Runner
Bit.Trip Runner hits WiiWare on May 17, which isn’t the “right this minute” I’d like, but it is coming up pretty quick all the same. I’m starting to get that familiar mix of emotions every entry in the series stirs – anticipation over how damn fun the game looks and a bit of foresight into how frustrated I’m going to get trying to survive it.

Bit.Trip might be the only series I love at the same time I fear for being one of the hardest series’ of games I’ve ever played.

You can catch the latest trailer after the break to gauge the challenge for yourself.

Gaijin Games also recently announced that the soundtrack for Void is now available over at CD Baby, with iTunes and Amazon availability on the way.

Any word on how much this will cost? I have 500 Wii Points from my Monster Hunter Tri pre-order laying around. :)

P.S. Jamie, I like the new design.

Should be the same price as the last two games. Haven’t finished Beat yet since the last level is giving me trouble. Once I do so I’ll get Void and once that one is done I’ll get Runner. So many games, so little time and money…

What were the prices of the last two games? ;)

600 pts is what I paid for the last two, I think, but you know when you think too hard and then worry you might be wrong? I’m totally having one of those moments!

Also thanks for the design nod, Brad did up that banner yesterday. He’s one of those jerks that does really great work really fast to make it look easy.

600 Nintendo Points. Beat, Core and Void are set at that price and, unless they feel like the new one should change things around, it should be released at 600 NP as well.
