Sadness’ Last Audible Gasp

Sadness
No, I didn’t receive any emails promising that Nibris would bring their non-existent Wii exclusive to E3 this year. In fact this is the one bit of Sadness news you’ll ever read that offers something your senses can actually dig into some.

Music blog Gramuzyka claims to have thirteen unfinished tracks from the game by composer Arkadiusz Reikowski, which you can download and check out for yourself by following this link. The tracks don’t threaten to give Akira Yamaoki’s work much competition, but the work is very atmospheric and moody.

I can easily say this is by far my favorite element of Sadness to date – since there of course was/is/and never will be anything else.

So many promises and so little actual proof. At least the music seems to be set in the proper mood for a “game” of this genre. Still, you can’t really compare Yamaoki’s style to anyone else…

haha yea, I just like to mention Yamaoki whenever possible :)

What was this game suppose to be about? I’m curious~

It was suppose to be some original emotionally driven psychological (paranoid schizophrenia?) game to showcase the Wii that took place in late 19th century Europe. As it stands it is a bunch of images and some music.
