Patchwork Heroes Releases Today

I’m still shocked that Patchwork Heroes is set to release for the PSP today, as soon as the PlayStation Store does its update dance of course. Despite my recent PSP woes you can expect me to lie, cheat and steal if need be to be playing it this weekend.

I also know some of you are going to be disappointed that this isn’t a UMD release, but based on my time with the demo I still hope you’ll check out one of the most original PSP titles I’ve yet come across.

The announcement on the PlayStation Blog also included some concept art from the game, including an incredible piece done in clay depicting Titori and company scaling one of the game’s airships.

    One of the games that would make me consider owning a PSP… if I didn’t have to actually buy one. As it is between DS, Wii and PS3 releases (as well as the Telltale game of the week here and there) I’ve either spent too much already, have a huge backlog of games… or both.

    Heh. I’m one of those people that won’t buy this game because it isn’t on UMD. I don’t want to encourage that type of behavior by buying into it! :P

    I do however wish I could play this game. Maybe someday it will be available for purchase in a media worth consuming. :)
