This Japanese trailer for Nier Replicant is several shades of “damn I’ll have to check this game out no matter what now.” The peaks at actual gameplay are scarce, but look good enough to keep me hoping that Cavia pulls it together on this one.

    I have to say… I’m really not a fan of all these “dark void” & “nothing” creatures… ala Twilight Princess, Prince of Persia and now this… I’m sure there are other games as well… it seems rather… boring to me. Lack of imagination or something.

    It’s Cavia, so there’s a good chance that fighting minions could turn out really, really boring, but I’m crossing my fingers very very tight. I also haven’t really been bothering to distinguish Gestalt from Replicant (360 from PS3), the differences still sound really slight.
