Perhaps because I’m trying to get some actual work done around here today, I’m puzzled that Nintendo has released a new trailer for Metroid: Other M, one week after the media event announcing the game’s release date.

While I’m not smart enough to understand the thinking behind that, I will throw it out there that releasing a clean copy of the Super Metroid scene the company has worked so hard to yank from the Web recently would warrant a lot more attention and excitement.

But hey, I just work here, so catch what they have released after the break.
