A Micro is the best way to enjoy GBA games. The screen might be smaller, but the QUALITY of the screen and lighting of it make GBA games just... pop. Might have something to do with 2D sprites and the way the Micro lights the screen. I got my Famicom Micro at full retail and have never "regreted" (as everyone seems to say when speaking of the Micro) my purchase. Still use it to this day (I'm playing Sigma Star Saga right now).

I still rock my O.G. DS, the others didn't offer me anything better. I'd like to pickup a Micro someday though... or maybe a second gen SP with the brighter screen, I have that NES SP version. Luckily the only game I'm planning on buying full price is Sin & Punishment 2 (even though I own the Japanese version, and probably nothing has changed except for the English)

Nah, I don't see a DS 2 or anything like that this year. The DSi and the DSi XL are selling really well and the XL hasn't been released in Europe or the Americas. It's not like when the Micro (which I own and love... Famicom Limited Edition!) was released and it almost tanked a couple of months later. If the XL is doing 20-25k a week in Japan then it has a go at 50-100k a week in Europe and the Americas and you never say no to easy money. Releasing a DS2, releasing DETAILS about the existence of a DS2 at E3 THIS year would be wrong and kill any holiday sales for the DSi and XL. Talk about the DS2 at E3 2011 for a holiday release of 2011 or save it for Tokio GAme Show and release on March 2012 and let all the happy supporters who got a DSi or an XL enjoy the handheld for a while.

I owned a DS at launch, changed to a Lite at launch and did the same for a DSi... but that's it. Since I've spent $70 on DSiware my DSi isn't going anywhere unless I can transfer my saves, games and accounts into a new console...
