Krome Studios’ Steve Stamatiadis posted word to the PlayStation Blog that his comic flavored action game, Blade Kitten, would be making it to PSN this Spring. I know a few people who might cringe the first time they hear that title, but don’t let the name and candy-pop style throw you off discovering that this kitten’s 2.5D mission looks firmly rooted in the fundamentals.

This mostly remains a hypothesis for now though, judge for yourself from the first trailer that accompanied the announcement, which you can catch after the break. You can also hit up the Blade Kitten webcomic, which was created to develop the universe behind the characters and gain support for creating the game.
