NIS America has sent around what might be the most unique press update I’ve ever encountered for an already released title, namely that we all start calling it something different, or at least shorten up what we have been calling it. Because of a conflict with an unnamed existing IP, NIS America has dropped the “Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman” from the two PSP titles, which will now be called What Did I Do To Deserve This, My Lord.
According to the press release, the already released PSP game has been temporally removed from the PlayStation Store to accommodate the name change, and the sequel’s release will have a delay, now hitting shelves on May 4 under the new name.
Not counting re-releases, I’m almost entirely sure there isn’t an example of a game title needing to be changed after its release. That’s a serious pain in the ass if there ever was one. Aside from database entries, press mentions, and art assets, the game’s official site is holybadman.com.
Color me curious to say the least.
