I don’t mind admitting that I’ve been a little puzzled about what the term “adventure novel game” means. Our finest minds have concluded that it must be something like a visual novel game with interactive adventure bits mixed in like so much trail mix. Until I can afford to hire a Japanese correspondent you’re just going to have make due with that stab in the dark.
What NISA did say today is that players take on the role of Prinny in the title, one that comes into possession of a clock that allows it to take over the minds and bodies of characters in order to unravel an assassination attempt – collect hints and clues, hang out with the Disgaea gang, and say dood repeatedly.
The game is slated to hit North American PSP owners in May, and I imagine we’ll get more details along the way.
Catch a trailer from the Japanese release of the game after the break.
